Important news: new regulatory guidelines
The TGA and AHPRA, two of the major authorities, have imposed more stringent guidelines on cosmetic clinic advertising.
The TGA made it clear on March 7, 2024, that some previously authorised means of marketing to patients and interacting with them were now prohibited. The primary modifications that this website and Dr. Rabia Gill’s Instagram will highlight are as follows:
1) It is now prohibited to advertise treatment costs.
Prices cannot be provided over the phone, over email, on a website, or during your appointment; however, they can still be discussed in person during your consultation. If our reception staff is unable to provide you with this information, please do not become upset with them. In order for the pricing to be customized to your specific needs, it must be quoted during a consultation.
2) It is no longer permitted to list specific treatment areas. Instead, new patients can schedule a general “New patient consultation” during which Dr. Rabia Gill will discuss the best course of action for their unique qualities. This assists in preventing irrational expectations.
3) Advertisements containing before and after photos of injectable treatments are prohibited. As a result, Dr. Rabia Gill will take down her Instagram before and after pictures.
